... An air quality advisory has been issued by the Idaho
department of environmental quality...

Due to elevated pollutant levels, the air quality has become
unhealthy for the cities of Pocatello and Chubbuck in Bannock
County. This is forecasted to improve slightly to unhealthy for
sensitive groups. This advisory will remain in effect until air
quality has significantly improved.

Those individuals who are sensitive to increased particulate or
smoke levels are encouraged to avoid prolonged or strenuous
outdoor activity. All others should limit prolonged or strenuous
outdoor activity. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Another statement will be issued about 10 am MDT tomorrow.

Wednesday evening for scattered thunderstorms and gusty outflow
winds for fire weather zone 413...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Wednesday evening.

* Affected area... fire weather zone 413.

* Wind... thunderstorms gusts over 40mph with some storms
potentially producing gusts near 60 mph.

* Thunderstorms... scattered wet and dry thunderstorms. Some storms
may produce rainfall near or exceeding 0.25 inches.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
