* Impacts... these temperatures will harm or kill sensitive
vegetation if steps aren't taken to protect them.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will harm or kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation. After midnight, 10 to 15 mph winds will
make outdoor protection of plants more difficult and ineffective.
Bring plants indoors if possible.

the Mississippi River at Keithsburg.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:30 PM Monday the stage was 19.0 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast: fall to 18.3 feet Wednesday morning. Drop below
17 feet Sunday.
* Impact: at 19.0 feet, seepage behind keithsburg's levee affects
businesses on 4th street and affects Keithsburg Road at Pope
creek.

* Until further notice.
* At 8:00 PM Monday the stage was 20.3 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast: fall to 19.4 feet Wednesday morning. Drop below
19.5 feet Sunday.
* Impact: at 18.1 feet, lock and dam 17 is closed.

* At 8:15 PM Monday the stage was 19.6 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast: fall to 18.7 feet Wednesday morning.
* Impact: at 19.5 feet, water affects industries just north of the
flood wall along Mad Creek.
