Flood Warning
Issued: 10:39 AM EST Feb. 19, 2018 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Eel River at North Manchester
* from late tonight to Saturday morning.
* At 9 am Monday the stage was 4.7 feet and steady.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage early Tuesday
morning and crest near 15.0 feet around 7 PM Wednesday February
21 and fall below flood stage around 10 am Friday February 23.
* At 15.5 feet... significant flood problems in southwest Whitley and
northeast Wabash counties along the Eel River. Mobile Home Park in
North Manchester begins to flood.

through Wednesday afternoon...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and Northwest
Ohio from noon EST /11 am CST/ today through Wednesday
afternoon

* periods of moderate to occasionally heavy rain are likely to
cause flooding on area streams, rivers, low lying and other
flood prone areas.

* Amounts of generally 2 to 4 inches are expected by Wednesday
evening.

current forecasts.
