... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 500 PM CDT
for northern Franklin and southeastern Douglas counties...

At 416 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near De Soto to 3 miles southwest of Spring Hill to
Osawatomie, moving east at 55 mph.

Hazard... 70 mph wind gusts.

Source... trained weather spotters.

Impact... expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to Mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Ottawa, Baldwin City, Eudora, Wellsville, Centropolis, Pomona,
Rantoul and Vinland.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 183 and 198.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a dangerous situation. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage. Seek shelter now inside a sturdy structure and stay
away from windows.

for southwestern Franklin... western Anderson and southeastern Coffey
counties...

At 411 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles southeast of Pomona to 3 miles north of Harris
to 8 miles southwest of Le Roy, moving east at 30 mph.

Hazard... 70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to Mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Ottawa, Pomona, Williamsburg, Princeton, Westphalia, Harris and Le
Roy.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 169 and 184.

... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 445 PM CDT
for southeastern Franklin... Anderson and southeastern Coffey
counties...

At 404 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles northeast of Princeton to 4 miles southwest of
Richmond to 3 miles southwest of Neosho Falls, moving east at 45 mph.

These are very dangerous storms.

Hazard... 80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Source... trained weather spotters. Emergency management reported
         tree and building damage near Harris at 4 PM. Also spotters
         reported 70 mph wind gusts 5 miles south southwest of
         Richmond.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
         Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Locations impacted include...
Ottawa, Garnett, Richmond, Colony, Greeley, Princeton, Lane, Rantoul,
Westphalia, Kincaid, Lone Elm, Harris and Le Roy.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 178 and 185.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

This is a dangerous situation. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage across Anderson County. Seek shelter now inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
