The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a

* flood advisory for...
snowmelt in...
Glacier County in north central Montana...

* until 215 am MDT Monday

* at 219 PM MDT, emergency management reported snowmelt is
continuing to cause minor flooding of low-lying areas and some
rural roadways in Glacier County. Warm temperatures through this
weekend will likely allow flooding to continue, especially if
snowmelt runoff from The Rockies increases water levels along
streams.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

High Wind Watch
Issued: 2:28 PM MDT Apr. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

... High wind watch remains in effect from Saturday morning
through Saturday evening...

* winds: southwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Local
gusts up to 80 mph along the Rocky Mountain front.

* Timing: winds will increase along the Rocky Mountain front and
in eastern Glacier County Saturday morning. These winds could
become strong and gusty during the afternoon and into the early
evening hours.

* Impacts: strong winds could break tree branches. Isolated power
outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for
high profile vehicles.



Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph, or gusts of
58 mph or stronger, may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.
