... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 10 am EST
Wednesday...

* what... snow occurring and black ice likely. Plan on slippery
Road conditions, including during the morning commute on
Wednesday. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are
expected.

* Where... the mountains of northeast Georgia and western North
Carolina.

* When... until 10 am EST Wednesday.

* Additional details... while many locations in the lower valleys
may see less than an inch of snow accumulation, very cold
temperatures surging into the area will result in residual
moisture rapidly freezing on roads and other surfaces. High
temperatures will be well below freezing tomorrow, so any
improvement in Road conditions will be slow. Cold wind chills as
low as 10 below zero will cause frostbite in as little as 30
minutes to exposed skin tonight through tomorrow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
