Wind Chill Advisory
Issued: 5:15 PM MST Jan. 15, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until noon CST /11 am
MST/ Tuesday...

* what... very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills will
cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
Expect wind chills to range from 25 below zero to as cold as
40 below zero.

* Where... far western North Dakota.

* When... now to noon Tuesday.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves. If traveling, have extra layers of clothing and a winter
survival kit. Stay with your vehicle if you become stranded.
