Flood Warning
Issued: 10:32 AM EST Feb. 19, 2018 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Tiffin River near Stryker
* until further notice.
* At 10 am Monday the stage was 11.7 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to a crest near 16.7 feet around 1
am Saturday February 24 and begin falling.
* At 16.5 feet... major flooding will occur in and around the Village
of Stryker.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.9 feet which occurred
on Jun 30 2015.

Areal Flood Watch

... Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and Northwest
Ohio through Wednesday afternoon

* periods of moderate to heavy rain are likely to cause flooding
on area streams, rivers and low lying areas prone to flooding.

* Additional amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected by Wednesday
morning, heaviest northwest of US 24 in northern Indiana and
southwest lower Michigan.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

If you live along streams and rivers or in any flood prone area,
remain alert to this flooding potential the next several days.
