Areal Flood Watch
Issued: 3:53 AM CDT Sep. 21, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Flood Watch now in effect from 7 am CDT this morning through
7 PM this evening...

The Flood Watch for flash flooding... flooding of creeks and
rivers... and flooding of low lying areas is now in effect for

* portions of Oklahoma and northern Texas, including the
following areas, in Oklahoma, Beckham, Blaine, Custer, Dewey,
Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa, Roger Mills, and Washita. In
northern Texas, Hardeman.

* Through 7 PM this evening

* rainfall totals of 1 to 4 inches are possible with widespread
showers and thunderstorms. The higher rainfall totals are most
likely across portions of western North Texas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
