... Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Saturday night through
Monday afternoon...

* what... heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations of 5 to 13 inches and ice accumulations up to one-
quarter inch are possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph in
the western Columbia River gorge.

* Where... in Washington, western Columbia River gorge and
central Columbia River gorge. In Oregon, Upper Hood River
Valley, western Columbia River gorge and central Columbia
River gorge.

* When... from late Saturday night through Monday afternoon.

* Additional details... travel will become difficult late Saturday
night through Monday. Be sure to carry chains and a winter
emergency kit if you must travel. Travel may become extremely
difficult or impossible Saturday night through Monday due to ice
and heavy snow.
