... Rain and drizzle possibly mixed with brief periods of snow and
sleet expected overnight...

Periods of drizzle with scattered to numerous rain showers will
continue to impact much of southeast South Carolina and southeast
Georgia overnight as a trough of low pressure moves across the
region. As colder, drier air drops south, there is a chance that
that the rain and drizzle could briefly mix with light snow and
sleet at times, mainly between midnight and 5 am. No accumulations
or major travel problems from snow or sleet are expected at this
time. However, motorists are urged to be alert for puddles and
other possible slick spots overnight and early Tuesday morning.
The precipitation is expected to end before daybreak Tuesday.
