Issued: 9:20 PM CST Jan. 23, 2019 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Tennessee River at Perryville
* from Saturday January 26 until Sunday January 27.
* At 8 PM Wednesday the stage was 362.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 365.0 feet on Sunday January 27.
* Flood stage is 365.0 feet.
* At 365.5 feet... in Decatur County, in Cherokee Heights, the
intersection of Bill Perry Road and Woodland Shores Road floods
near the boat launch area. Water begins to flood the Gumdale
Landing boat launch parking area. The Busseltown boat launch area
at the end of mouse tail Road is flooded. The broadies Landing boat
launch area is flooding. The south evacuation Route from Fisher
Landing is flooding. Road in front of Lost Creek boat dock and
Marina closes.

The flood advisory continues for
the Tennessee River at Clifton
* until further notice.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 368.0 feet tonight and continue rising slowly
through the rest of the week.
* At 369.0 feet... in Decatur County, water inundates Scenic Lane in the Russ
farm area, cutting off all access to riverfront homes in the area.
* At 368.0 feet... in Perry County, water reaches the low lying portions of
access roads in the Peters Landing area.
* At 367.0 feet... in Wayne County, water inundates the boat launch areas and
portions of access roads in the Beech Lake campground on Beech Lake Road.
* At 366.0 feet... in Hardin County, water inundates low lying agricultural areas
and access roads in the Cobb farm area of Nance Bend, including senator Cobb
Road and colonel Hardin Road.
