Watches & Warnings

Special Statement
Issued: 6:50 PM PST Feb. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Black ice conditions expected tonight and early Thursday...

Showers will continue dissipating this evening. As they do so,
skies will clear and allow for surface temperatures to cool near
and below freezing tonight.

Any moisture left on untreated surfaces will likely freeze
tonight making for treacherous driving and walking conditions.
Temperatures will remain below freezing through thursday's
morning commute.

Slow down and allow for extra time to reach your destination.
Bridges and overpasses are likely freeze before surrounding
surfaces do. Black ice is difficult to see, especially on poorly
lit roads.
