Global Warming? 60 in February!

Not sure if this is global warming, but our forecast is dry, sunny and mild for the next WEEK! makes it a great time to have a "winter break" from school until Wednesday.

I found the pic I took in the spring of 2015 in my Mom and Dad's yard. This peony bush has been in the same spot for many years and before that it was a gift from my Mom's aunt. Aunt Dorothy had a beautiful backyard filled with a multitude of peony bushes. They were stunning in the spring.

Anyone have any heirloom bushes/flowers/plants that always perform year after year?

I pulled this photo from December, 2011. Glad I found it because with a foot of snow on the ground I will not be taking one this year. 10F here this morning means I'll be jumping into my car with heated seats to warm me.
