This is a composite of 10 phases of tonight's eclipse... the 1st moon photo (far left) was taken at 6:38pm Pacific... the last moon photo (far right) was taken at totality at 7:26pm Pacific. The various moon phases were composed over a backdrop taken during totality.

I got into photography while buying and selling cameras on eBay (user name: joewest2000). I enjoy test driving each camera that I sell and I've learned a lot from the old film SLRs. I had a lot of fun with my little Nikon Coolpix 2100 then a 3100... and finally... after seeing all the incredible shots on this site from digital SLRs I got a Nikon D80... now I'm trying to learn how to use it.
